What is SuperGroup™ Premium Flotilla Yacht Charter?
SuperGroup™ is an inclusive 5 Days/Nights (Sun-Fri) Premium Yacht Charter Sailing Holiday / Staycation amongst Scotlands' West Coast Islands, with Pro-Skippers and RYA Instructors supporting your family / group from Motor Cruisers, and doing all the tricky docking for you, as well as providing a fast water-taxi & guiding service!
There's no damage / security deposit and you don't need any licence or certificate to come on this exclusive family sailing holiday.
All fuel & gas is included PLUS free use of water toys e.g. Kayaks / Paddleboards / Dinghies!
We:
do all your docking for you by boarding/recovering a RYA Instructor at marina entrances (socially-distanced + wearing masks!)
provide fast water-taxi service to transfer you to shore and back from moorings / anchorages / trips;
Pre-book marinas and race ahead to hold moorings or anchorages for you
Provide Skipper / Instructor / Diver / Engineer with 24/7 GPS Tracking & Direct Radio Communications.
Our Motor Cruisers are on-the-water 24/7 dedicated to your support and we include a Daily SailPlan Briefing, Itinerary Guidance & Activity Recommendations.
You don't need a licence or certificate to start, and there are 3 'Levels' you can choose from, depending on your past experience, if any:
Level 1 - If you don't have any training or certification:
This means you need to add on the weekend Fri-Sun prior for pre-SuperGroup Training, it's £995 and includes a whole weekend of sailing and training, on your yacht, with your family / group and a qualified RYA Instructor. SuperGroup Flotilla Charters run 5 Nights from Sunday afternoons to Friday afternoons, so a Level 1 Extra Training Weekend runs from the immediately preceeding Friday to Sunday afternoon - ready to start your charter!
Level 2 - If you already have a Day Skipper / ICC, but not a great deal of experience:
This means you need to add on the Saturday evening (1830hrs) & Sunday Day prior for some helpful pre-SuperGroup practice & familirisation, it's £695 and includes a whole extra day and night of sailing and training, on your yacht, with your family / group and a qualified RYA Instructor. SuperGroup Flotilla Charters run 5 Nights from Sunday afternoons to Friday afternoons, so a Level 2 Extra Training Day runs from the immediately preceeding Saturday evening (1830hrs) to the Sunday afternoon - ready to start your charter!
Level 3 - If you already hold a Day Skipper / ICC / Coastal Skipper or higher, and have existing experience & confidence in general yacht handling & navigation:
Join on Sunday afternoon - SuperGroup Flotilla Charters run 5 Nights from Sunday afternoons to Friday afternoons, you'll be met at check-in by your Support Skippers who will give you a full and thorough handover and briefing, and assess how much assistance and which SuperGroup benefits you're likely to want throughout your charter!

This is a Self-Sail family / group / households yacht charter sailing holiday with FollowMe Support by Pro Skippers on our Cruising PowerBoats. We put a PPE-protected Skipper aboard from our cruising motorboats to dock and undock your yacht for you whenever you like, and when conditions get a little tricky!
Our Pro Sailing Skippers provide daily guidance & advice, Pilotage Marina-Berthing Service wherever you go, on-call fast PowerBoat Transfers & Rides to local attractions when you anchor, moor or dock so you can easily get ashore and back again, as well as water-toys and safety boat support for all to enjoy the water!
It's designed primarily for families & groups within a social-bubble or permitted number of households, but who are perhaps not yet experienced enough to fully bareboat charter a larger cruising yacht.
We do, in fact, also see plenty of reservations from those that are already experienced yacht cruisers / charterers, but would like the additional premium options of the motor boat / skippers / water-toys / guidance / no security deposit, etc.

When & Where Do They Run?
Charter arrival is each Sunday from 1600hrs. Return is by Friday 1600hrs to allow for deep-cleaning. The main cruising area is the Firth of Clyde & Islands sailing area - there are so many amazing places to visit you won't be able to see it all in just one week!
Select 5 Day/Night Sun-Fri Weeks throughout Season 2021 and Season 2022 from Largs Yacht Haven, KA30 8EZ, Scotland, UK.
We also have 7 Days/Nights Charters available either as One-Way Largs to Oban or Oban back to Largs, and 7 Days/Nights Oban-Oban options as well - check the Dates Section for details on when these are running.
Itinerary Largs:
SGF based at Largs Yacht Haven starting from Sunday 1600 -1800 and finishing on the Friday at 1500. The itinerary will be Clyde based with the choice of 7 marinas and countless anchorages to explore. The route taken and places visited will be decided each morning to ensure safety, good sailing, interest, harmony and fun. In challenging weather we ALL stay in port.
Your group will arrive at Largs Yacht Haven dependant of what package you’ve ordered and meet onboard your chosen vessel. We set sail on the Monday to different locations such as Holy Loch marina, Port Bannatyne , Kyles of Bute, East Loch Tarbert, Millport then returning back to Largs on the Friday.
Could be extended to 7 days with Preps.
SGF Largs will definitely appeal to Families with young children and we supply watersports toys such as kayaking and paddle boards to keep all involved, happy and occupied. It’s a holiday like no other.
SGF berthing and some sail training will be given daily by our Yachtmaster instructor Pavlina brought along side your yacht to board at sea wearing face mask so risks, worry or mishaps are near eliminated.
SGF successful completion will earn you a charter reference and promote you to our highest level 3 allowing you to undertake SGF at our base in Oban Marina or one way transit trips.
SGF is unique and unmatched anywhere locally or in UK and is designed to coincide with RYA training course dates.
SuperGroup Flotilla OBAN:
SGF in Oban is for our Advanced Level 3 skippers which is our top category available to experienced Day Skippers upwards, or previous SGF skippers or charterers.
It’s mainly covers the description as per SGF but based at Oban and 7 days. Skippers are expected to be self sufficient on yacht handling, day skipper navigation with adequate experienced crew.
The yachtmaster support team will still assist as per the Clyde based SGF and decide destinations and probably onboard or on pontoon for most berthing situations.
SGF mainly based at Oban & Transit Marinas giving the charterers a 7 day holiday from Sat 1630 to Sat 1000 visiting the western isles such as puffin island Lunga, Tobermory, Ardnamurchan Staffa and Iona to name just a few... best sailing area in Scotland and probably the U.K!

The balance is due 28 Days Prior To Departure
Automatic Reminders Will Be Sent Via E-Mail
You can cancel for a full refund of anything paid, or make any changes for free, up to 28 days prior to departure.
If you or any of your party or their close contacts test positive for COVID-19, or you are otherwise required to self-isolate, you can also cancel for a full refund, or reschedule to a new date (subject to availability).
All customer deposits are held in a secure and separate client-money holding account until after the service has been delivered. Any refunds are processed within 7 days - usually sooner.
