There is free 24hr secure parking at Largs Yacht Haven with CCTV, 24hr reception and security patrols and 2 x EV charging bays. The nearest airports are Glasgow International and Glasgow Prestwick, with regular daily flights to/from major UKm European and International locations. Read on further below so you can get a better idea of how it works: The SuperGroup Flotilla means that we help come up with an enjoyable and safe itinerary for you and your family / group, use our Cruising PowerBoats to scout ahead, and put a Professional Skipper-Pilot aboard to do any tricky docking / undocking for you, and to 'show you the ropes'. During the week you'll have free-roam sailing time, and depending on your levels of experience and confidence you can choose to do some of the berthing and docking aswell, of you want. Our Pro Skippers are also RYA Instructors. We take your family / group on powerboat rides for shore excursions, act as a safety / support / camera chase boat where necessary, all whilst giving you the space and freedom to sail stress-free - there's plenty of freedom to sail where you want during each day and we maintain contact with you via text-messaging and VHF Radio to let you know when and where to meet up with us - we're on hand for you but not hovering over your shoulder in the PowerBoats all day long! There's no traditional bareboat Yacht Charter Security Deposit to pay* (typically £1500.00). FYI: We have abundant quantities of handwash, sanitiser, masks etc. so you need not be overly-concerned about when our Skipper comes aboard outside in your cockpit to help dock your yacht as required. We have never used unearned customer money to fund our business costs, just in case customers have to cancel for whatever reason and we need to refund them right away. ---QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE--- Qualifications and experience-wise, you don't need to have a lot of experience, confidence or berthing skills, but we do recommend that the lead booked / designated skipper holds at least RYA Day Skipper / ICC or 3 years' experience in command of vessel of a similar type and size. *For our SuperGroup Flotilla Charter there is NO yacht security deposit payable however as part of your Guided SuperGroup Flotilla Yacht Charter Sailing Holiday agreement you are responsible for up to £300.00 GBP for minor and preventable losses or accidental damages - e.g. burning a table with a hot pan, dropping a pair of binoculars overboard etc. We don't make any up-front charge for this liability amount, instead we agree with you in your terms and conditions a card charge facility for the unlikely event of such a minor loss or damage.
